Paula Patton has a distinguished professional career in the field of acting, producer and director. Her most prominent work is for her starring part on Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. When she was a child Paula Patton grew up in an Los Angeles middle-class household. She was raised by a mother, who was a fan of movies. Paula took part in the co-curricular programs at her school and enjoyed drama. She was a huge fan of acting with her friends and participated in the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School gave her many opportunities to be an actor in high school and she decided to pursue acting as a career. She was part of the University of Southern California's Summer program and enjoyed it immensely. She won an award for a PBS three-month project to film documentaries. Following the successful completion of the project, she started working as an assistant to the production team for television documentaries. Then, she switched to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career but she always dreamed of being an actor. Her acting journey began with a small part in the romantic comedy film Hitch with Will Smith. In the years since, she's appeared in many popular movies as well as TV programs.
